The Faculty The Faculty started in the fall of 2005 in a tiny Hampshire College dorm room. Their meeting was instigated by a shared living space, but it was a love of old school grooves, high-energy improvisation, and balls-to-the-wall rock-n-roll that propelled the band. By coming together, each member was challenged to try something new, while still keeping his or her own musical roots relevant. Navigating through new territory, Owen Watson, Juliana Frick and Harry Milloff each acquired a unique voice by listening, learning and grooving together. Add to that the insane history of each member and The Faculty had found it's own sound: A blend of dirty funk, organic electronica and good ol' fashioned rock-n-roll. This style is brought to original compositions laden with strong improvisation. Go to a live show and you'll see that above all other labels, The Faculty will redefine your idea of high-energy live music.
